"اشتهر بالتفسير من الصحابة عشرة : الخلفاء الأربعة ، وابن مسعود ، وابن عباس ، وأبي بن كعب ، وزيد بن ثابت ، وأبو موسى الأشعري ، وعبد الله بن الزبير .
أما الخلفاء فأكثر من روي عنه منهم علي بن أبي طالب ، والرواية عن الثلاثة نزرة جدا ...."(1)
